what's the deal....christmas decorations already

This really shouldn't bother me as much as it does. It's not hardly the middle of October and there are already Christmas decorations out in stores. They were out before September even ended. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Let us have a chance to enjoy all the fall holidays before throwing Christmas at us. We are skipping over Halloween and Thanksgiving both (which are my 2 favorite holidays) in order to get to the most commercialized holiday of them all. I used to enjoy Christmas, but now, it starts SO early that when it finally rolls around, I am sick and tired of it. I don't mind Christmas in July, its kinda cute in its own strange way and it doesn't detract from any other holidays. But Christmas starting in October has just gone too far. Next thing you know, it will be Christmas carols on the radio, starting 24/7 the first day of November. It's gotten to where I don't want to buy Christmas presents anymore because I feel pressured to do it, not that I want to do it. If this makes me a grinch, so bit it. But I have gotten to where I'd rather Christmas just disappeared since it starts to blasted soon.

I'm SO with you! This is why I hate Christmas now. It's so commercialized. I don't buy presents (unless I make them) or decorate at all anymore. I refuse to participate!
